We have had a lot of requests from people who want to come and witness a birth. We are fortunate to have breeding dates for most of our goats and we can calculate approximate kidding dates. If you would like to come and witness a birth, we will happily welcome you into our barn. Birth is messy, so we ask that you bring barn clothes. While you may not help with the actual delivery, we are happy to place a wet and wiggling baby goat in your arms for you to dry off and help feed it’s first (second, third…) bottle.
We have just finished our breeding for 2013. Our pregnancy tests all came back POSITIVE!!!!
Due Dates for 2013:
February 8, 9, 17, and 27th
March 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, and 13th
April 2 and 26th.
Just a note: Goats can deliver 5 days on either side of these dates.

Hello,
My name is Barbara Harrington. I live in Braham, MN. I have been wanting goats for a long time now. After a lot of thought I have settled on Nigerians as my breed of choice. I was thinking LaManchas, but I think the mini size along with the wonderful dairy quality of the Nigerians would be ideal for my needs.
I would like to talk to you about buying a doeling and a wether, or if I can afford it, 2 doelings. I have never had goats before, but have done extensive reading and research on the subject. I have had horses, cattle, and presently I have poultry and show dogs.
I am looking for goats for milk, of course. I’m not really interested in showing at this time, but that could very easily change in the future. I show dogs, along with my granddaughter. I can see that unlike dogs, buying a good show quality goat is directly related to the function of the animal. With dogs, the best show winner is usually not related to the actual working usefulness of the dog. I have a Champion mini dachshund who is a wonderful show dog, but couldn’t track a rabbit if his life depended on it. : )
I would like to start with kids, because I really want the full experience of raising the babies. I’m hoping I could arrange to have it bred by you when the time comes, and then start the kidding and milking next year when she freshens. Or possibly a doeling and an older doe?
I have grandchildren who will just adore raising the babies just as much as I will. I don’t think we will be needing a lot of milk, but just enough for the family, for making soap, and maybe cheese.
It would be wonderful if you could call or email me sometime, so we could get together and talk about this. I do have the money for a kid resevation.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Barbara

When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather. Peacefully, and in my sleep. Not hysterical and screaming, like the passengers in his car…
Do you sell your dwarf nigerian goats? I am looking for one for my daughter for 4 H.
Thank You,
Liz
Do you sell any of your milking does? We are looking to get a couple Alpine does that have recently freshened. Let us know if you have any you’d be willing to sell and how much you would want for them.
Thanks.
I was wondering if you have any doe kids available this year
Do you have any Nigerian Dwarf Goats for sale at this time? I am most interested in a bred doe and a doe that I can breed.
Thank you,
Diana

We are interested in buying two young goats, preferrably LaMancha goats. We are looking for wethers. We would like to raise them as pets so are looking for goats with friendly personalities. We live in southeast Wisconsin. Would you have goats available or could you recommend a good source? Any help you can offer will be appreciated!!
